I think this is actually a pretty good instructional video, not to wear your face shield, but to show how to react when you see such an injury. The fact that the guy’s friend didn’t freak out helped keep the victim calm.

Fun story- a similar thing happened to me once, only instead of a stick it was my front teeth which almost went all the way through my lower lip.

0/10 wouldn’t do again.
